Polina writes a regular column for
Departures ↗, profiling creative thinkers who are building new realities across art, fashion, design, gastronomy, travel, and hospitality.
Always ready for a far-flung assignment or a long sojourn in nature, through her work, Polina is interested in mapping the present and future of all that is beautiful and impactful, sustainable, and intuitively human.
A forever student, she is a certified 300 hour yoga teacher through Kula Yoga Project, as well as a mindfulness meditation instructor through Dharma Moon and Tibet House. Looking to integrate her work with her ongoing studies, she developed the editorial strategy at
Human Shift ↗, an independent print publication, where she brought together the worlds of culture, sport, and conscious lifestyle.
A NYC-native of Russian descent, Polina spent over a decade in the fashion industry shuttling between Paris, Milan, and New York, where she built her expertise in visual communication and styling. She completed her executive MBA at Institut Francais de la Mode and her BA from McGill University.
Polina remains rooted in the big city with her husband, two sons, and a bruxells-griffon named Tartine.
